Studying Colour With Elle is an exploration of colour, tone and composition in oil paintts as well as digital colours. The project investigates how colours interact, complement and contrast, developing an understanding of colour relationships and their expressive potential in painting. Particular interest is in composing a few colours that push one of them to the back or bring one colour forward.
